BS Tileasy-F is an easy to use, quick working, in organic materials based, cementitious polymer modified tile fixing mortar. It has the bond strength configured as per tropical weather conditions. BS Tileasy-F provides very good adhesion of Tiles or Stones cladding to plastered surface, precast wall, AAC Blocks and brickwork upto a height of 3 meters.

Advantages of BS Tileasy-F 

1. Thin set or Thick-bed Application: Mortar Bedding can be from 5mm onwards to 8mm 

2. High Grade bonding: It is suggested for Indoor stiles up to 2ft by 2ft 

3. Waterproof Quality: Suitable for Showers and Kitchen areas. 

4. Anti-Slip Performance: Designed for vertical tile fixing application on walls or covered facade.

Recommended Application of BS Tileasy-F 

BS Tileasy-F may be used for fixing small to medium format tiles even on various substrates and even less-porous tiles (<3% and > 0.08%) and can be used with confidence in all wet process applications. Typical Applications are: 

ïï Showers, bathrooms Commercial food processing zones 

ïï Podium and commercial spaces

ïï Hospital, Laboratories & Hotels 

ïï Granite fixing for flooring with limited wall application

Suggestion for BS Tileasy-F Application 

1. If a non-absorbent surface like painted or coated surface is present, the BS Tileasy-F can be modified with BS Smartbond 100 @2% by volume. Do a trial first or check with our technical department. 

2. Movement joints should be provided as per recommendation of local standards or BS 5385. 

3. Do not apply at temperatures below 5 degree &above 40 degrees Celsius

4. Start tiling work early in summers to apply mortar in temperature below 35 degrees Celsius or use ice to cool the mixing water to maintain the open time of BS Tileasy-F mortar. 

5. Do not reuse the dried / hardened mortar or mix it with fresh mortar. Once BS Tileasy-F is mixed &prepared with water the polymers are activated 

6. The mortar layer thickness of BS Tileasy-F should be less than 12 mm on horizontal surface and less than 8 mm on vertical surfaces.
