BS Tileasy 400 is a High Performance, Polymer ModifiedCementitious White Coloured Tile Adhesive withExtended Open Time & Reduced Slip. It has the bondstrength and high inbuilt flexibility required for tropicalweather conditions affecting movement in structures.

BS Tileasy 400 provides high duty adhesion specially forcladding use on plastered surface, precast wall,ply-board, AAC Blocks, terrazzo surface, concrete,cement blocks.

Recommended Application of BS Tileasy 400 G

BS Tileasy 400 is a high performance adhesive for fixingsmall to large tiles even on difficult substrates andless-porous tiles and can be used withconfidence in all wet process applications. TypicalApplications are:

1. Suitable for Ceramic tiles, Semi Vitrified tiles,Vitrified tiles, stones

2. Wet areas including kitchen, bathrooms &Showers in domestic, institutional, commercialand industrial spaces

3. Tile on tile application

4. For external or internal applications

5. For Floors, Walls, Podium decks, roofs includinglarge format tiles and stones

6. For laying non-moisture sensitive natural stone

7. For Laying Ceramic, Porcelain Mosaic, Fullyvitrified tiles and brick tiles.

Preparation of BS Tileasy 400 mortar

Add 4.5 to 5 Litres of potable water to a 20Kg bag of BSTileasy 400. Pour water first in a clean mixing container.Add BS Tileasy 400 powder to the water, graduallystirring with a hand mixer until the mix is lump free & ina plastic state.

Suggestion for BS Tileasy 400 Application

1. If a non-absorbent surface like painted or coatedsurface is present, the BS Tileasy 400 can bemodified with BS Smartbond 100 @2% byvolume. Do a trial first or check with ourtechnical department.

2. Movement joints should be provided as perrecommendation of local standards or BS 5385.

3. Do not apply at temperatures below 5 degree &above 35 degrees Celsius

4. Start tiling work early in summers to applymortar in temperature below 35 degrees Celsiusor use ice to cool the mixing water to maintainthe open time of BS Tileasy 400 mortar.

5. Do not reuse the dried / hardened mortar or mixit with fresh mortar. Once BS Tileasy 400 is mixed& prepared with water the polymers areactivated

6. Important : The mortar layer thickness of BSTileasy 400 should be less than 10 mm onhorizontal surface and less than 8 mm on verticalsurfaces.
